Fairport Harbor Beach
Lake Metropark's Lakefront Park is just down the hill from Fairport Harbor Village Lighthouse & Museum.  You'll find a beautiful well-maintained beach with picnic areas, kayak rentals, sand volleyball courts, a playground, and a guarded swim area. More Information



Mentor Headlands State Park
Declared “Cleveland’s Best Beach” by the Plain Dealer, Mentor Headlands is the largest natural beach on the Great Lakes.  The breakwall at the eastern end of the park is home to the Fairport Harbor Breakwall Lighthouse.
  Other amenities include hiking trails, a playground, and Headlands Dunes State Nature Preserve. More information

Lawnfield:  James A. Garfield National Historic Site
Visit the home of the 20th President of the United States.  Garfield launched his famous "Front Porch Campaign" here in 1880. More information.

Lake Metropark's Lake Farmpark
Lake Farmpark is a family- oriented science and cultural center devoted to agriculture, farming, and country life. Come and experience this award-winning park where you can milk a cow, take a wagon ride, and discover over 50 breeds of farm animals up close.  More Information.
